And it only took two months to launch our own website. No, we’re not that slow, we just put our clients first. Luckily last week was vacation week for most of the world and we had some time to wrap everything up.
Since we’re designers and not copywriters, we’ve hired a creative writer to rework the text throughout our site – so check us out next week for some updated vocab.
What’s new at Afixia?
Our dedicated servers! We now have two servers load balancing all of our websites. This means if one of the servers goes down or needs an update, the other one will be able to serve the sites. If there’s a lot of traffic on one machine, the other picks up the slack – making sure all of our sites are running at peak performance.
In the works – Phonatize
We’ve begun the initial planning phase for our first product – Phonatize. Using some brand new server technology, the world will be able to personalize their own websites for mobile devices – even if not hosted by us. I won’t give away too much right now, but as we get closer to launch, look forward to a features list and more information about our upcoming new product.
